Location: Ridge Lake is located in Fox Ridge State Park, south of Charleston in Coles County.
Description: This large pond is 18 acres with a maximum depth of 15 feet. This is a research lake run by the Illinois Natural History Survey and is open on a seasonal basis only during certain hours and days. Bank fishing is not allowed. Jon boats are available for free use on a first come first serve basis.
