Additional information for stocking on Woods Lake
History and Status of the Sport Fishery: When this lake was rehabilitated, it was restocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, black crappie, and channel catfish. Unfortunately, common carp and bullheads may have survived upstream of the lake in a small creek and repopulated the lake after the rehabilitation.
Additional Lake Information: Wood Lake was rehabilitated several years ago, and it was opened for catch and release fishing this year (2016) and will open to regular fishing regulations next year (2017). The lake has two handicap accessible fishing piers, parking, and an accessible boat dock. There is a concrete boat ramp. It is limited to trolling motors only.
